"I received a phone call from my good friend
on March 20, 2002. She was in a desperate
panic because something had happened to
her 11 month old son, Christian. I rushed to
the hospital to find him in a coma, on life
support. Seven days later after sitting by my
friend’s side, holding her hand as she held
his, baby Christian died from complications
from drowning.

I will never forget the moment I watched him take his last breath.

I stayed with my friend and her husband and sat quietly while they planned their son’s funeral. It was difficult not knowing my place in that process. I wanted so badly to help them, but I felt helpless. To this day, I don’t know how they paid for Christian’s funeral. It’s not something I felt comfortable asking about. If The Jordan Rader Foundation was available at the time, I would have been able to encourage them to call.

That is why I am helping Victoria with this Foundation, because I know how much these families will appreciate the support. I know, in all their devastation and pain, they will be thankful for The Jordan Rader Foundation."
